ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of General Medicine, inaugurated in 1985, is the largest department of the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER). It gives us great pride to have 35 distinguished faculty members from institutions across the country. They work as a complete unit, applying the latest medical knowledge and technology. This united effort on a National scale supports and establishes our excellence in healthcare.
We cater to a broad range of specialties, including diabetes, hypertension, infections, multi-organ involvement, supporting them with primary and tertiary care. Our services are spread through consultations for outpatients and inpatients, camps, and tele-consultancy.
Our department is defined by excellence in education, patient care, and research. We strengthen this definition by making our mark in esteemed national and international indexed journals.
