About the Department

The Department of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology is a Super Specialty center. We focus on diagnosing and treating a wide range of rheumatological conditions. These ailments often go underdiagnosed, which makes early and quick care essential. Our team is dedicated to providing patients with accurate treatment, along with support and care.

The principle “teamwork never fails” is foundational to our department. We are proud of our expert team, who bring with them expertise and enthusiasm. They are led by the wisdom of Dr. S. Rajeswari, a renowned academician. Our team comprises rheumatologists, assistant physicians, physiotherapists, and trained staff nurses. To our credit, we are one of the few centers in Southeast Asia with 4 fully qualified DM Rheumatologists.

Rheumatological conditions are often misdiagnosed and mistreated, often due to a lack of awareness. To bridge this gap, our dedicated social work team actively educates patients. The team clears myths and imparts knowledge to patients. This approach helps patients feel more at ease and provides them with the comfort and support to manage their condition.
